I want to draw your attention to my book list and a little cleaning up. I absolutely love America Knits...to the point of calling it my book of the year so far! ;} I love going into artists studios, lives, places they live.... A reader comment at Amazon said it was a reprint of Knitting in America, but it's the first time seeing it for me and I'm in love with it!

I have a small sketch book in my bedside drawer when I have an idea! I feel lost when I don't have it... I wonder how/where do others keep there ideas?
Finally, I'm a day late at getting my calendar up on my wall! This year I have chosen Vermeer ...the master of light! The Lacemaker is the January picture! Love it! It's a tradition to have a special picked out calendar for my wall, so I have an idea....I'm tagging a few people! "What Calendar is on YOUR Wall This Year?" Hi, PJ, thanks for stopping by! This is the first time I've been tagged on my blog, but funny you mentioned calendars -- at 6am this morning (before leaving for work) I was digging around in the dark to put up a calendar in our office. I never did find it, but last week I did put one up in the kitchen. It's a "Hawaiian Flowers" calendar from my co-worker when she went to Hawaii a few months ago. The photos are beautiful. Happy New Year!
